Events in the Next Two Weeks!

1)       This Friday is our high school Homecoming Dance from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. I met with all high school students planning to attend to review our basic rules for the event. Please know that all permission forms and fees for the dance are due by the end of the day on Tuesday, 11/15/11. If you have any questions about the dance or your child was not present for my meeting today, please feel free to contact my office.

2)    Reminder that next week we have three short session days (Mon, Tues and Wed) with a 12:15 p.m. dismissal each day and we are closed Thursday and Friday. On Monday, 11/21/11, there will be parent conferences from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday, 11/22/11, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Please remember that we have limited time during these meetings and each of your child’s teachers will only be able to provide about ten minutes for each conference. If you believe you will need more time, please feel free to contact the school to schedule a conference regarding your child with one or all of his/her teachers. Scheduled conferences allow our staff more time to devote to discussing your child’s academic performance and can be scheduled throughout the school year.
