Class of 2016 – 8th Grade Formal

The 8th Grade Formal is May 11, 2012.  Students decided on a black and white theme.  We are in need of parent volunteers for food and beverages:

  • Chicken tenders, french fries, taco salad, veggie/fruit platter, cheese & crackers.
  • Desserts: cupcakes, cookies, brownie, etc.
  • Chips, pretzels, dip, soda

  • Dinner: Chicken tenders, french fries, homemade mac & cheese, taco salad, veggie/fruit platter, cheese & crackers, and pigs in a blanket.
  • Dessert:  cupcakes, cookies (black & white), brownies, etc.
  • Chips, pretzels, dip, soda, water.
  • Also in need of plates, napkins, cups, untensils.

8th Grade Activities Schedule

The end of the year is fast approaching and we have many exciting events planned:

Cap & Gown Payment $20.00 is due 2/1/12
Formal (Cafeteria) – 5/11/12 – 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. – $10.00
Dorney Park Class Trip – 5/31/12 – 8:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. – $50.00
Graduation (Auditorium) – 6/14/12 – 7:00 p.m.

Further information and permission slips will be sent home as events draw near. We look forwad to continued academic success during the second half of the year. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the school.

“Live Auction” Dec. 8, 2011

Our next big fundraiser is the “Live Auction” Dec. 8, 2011.  We are asking all 8th grade parents to participate by sending in a gift for auction ($15.00 value) or send in cash so that we may buy a gift for auction.  Donation letters are available to any parent who wishes to secure gifts for auction.  Contact Mrs. Campbell at jcampbell@sapublicschools.com   Anyone who is interested in helping out the night of the auction please contact me. Hello world!

Welcome to the class of 2016.  I’m Mrs. Campbell the 8th grade advisor.  There is a middle school Halloween Dance coming up.  Cost is $5.00 – the date is October 27th, time: 7-9 p.m. in the cafeteria.  Please bring in signed permission slips prior to the date of the dance.  Wear a costume and receive a homework pass.

Asking students/parents for donations of snacks, candy, drinks, and paper products.  Come out and have some fun.
