Class of 2014

Spring has definitely sprung and we are still in search of the perfect location for prom next year.  In case some of you are not aware, the Class of 2014 is hosting next year’s prom.  As a class you all came together and made your 8th grade formal a rousing success, well the time is here again.  We are seriously in need of suggestions for locations,themes and anything else that comes with making a successful party.  so, anyone out there who is a member of the class of 2014, who has any suggestions, leave a comment on this blog, or stop by and see me after school in Room 441.  Our Joe corbi endeavor in March was relatively successful, but we could have used some more participation.

As we head into March, we need to start looking at potential prom sites for next year.  We really need some more participation here.  All members of the class of  2014 should help come up with suggestions not only for sites but also themes.  Post some suggestions right here on this blog.  We just completed another Joe Corbie’s pizza kit fund raiser, but we really could have used a little more participation from members of the class.

Now that we’ve gotten through the hustle and bustle of the holidays and all the excitement of “spirit week”, it’s time to start thinking about what we would like to do for Prom next year. Yes, next year, we have to start planning for next year’s Prom this year. We have already had one meeting and some really good ideas have already been put out there. Keep them coming. We are also working on trying to come up with some fundraisers to do this spring. Anyone with any thoughts about the Prom or fundraisers can leave a comment.

The Sophomore class is selling Joe Corbie’s pizza kits.  This is an excellent fundraising opportunity and all sophomores are invited to participate.  Joe Corbie’s has very tasty pizza kits as well as cookie dough.  Great snacks and treats for the upcoming busy holiday season.  Sophomores need to turn in all orders and payments to Miss Haag by October 26,2011.  Delivery will be on Nov. 16.  Sophomores also need to start thinking about “Spirit Week” ideas.  Is everybody on board with the “fish” theme or are there any other ideas “floating” or “swimming” around?.  Post any suggestions or ideas here on this blog.

The sophmore class is looking forward to an exciting year here at South Amboy Middle High School.

We will be having a meeting on Thurs. Oct. 6, to distribute and discuss the Joe Corbie’s pizza kits sale that we will be conducting for the next 2 weeks.  This is a fundraiser for our class, so everyone should attend.   The meeting will be in room 441 right after school and should be concluded by 3pm.  Hope to see you all there.
