To: Class of 2012 and Parents

It is mid-year already, and I want to inform you and your parents of the events that will finish the 2011/2012 school year.
The senior trip to Orlando, Florida is from May 25th to May 30th. There will be a mandatory parent meeting on Wednesday May 9, 2012 at 7:00 pm. Please bring medical insurance information with you. Luggage, flight information, and medical forms will be filled out. If you have any concerns, please contact me as soon as possible.
The Prom will be May 18th , 2011 at the Reception Center at Saint Clement in Matawan, NJ. The cost of the bid will be determined shortly. The buses will leave South Amboy High School at 6:15 pm. If you have any questions, contact Mr. Brian Wohlt, the class of 2013 advisor.
The tentative date for graduation is Friday, June 15, 2012, in the auditorium. Four tickets will be allotted per student. If additional tickets are needed the student will be placed on a waiting list and tickets will be distributed (2 per student) until all seats are occupied. Please remember that no one can enter without a ticket. There is a $20.00 fee for the graduation cap and gown. Cash or checks will be accepted, make checks payable to SAHS.
There is a slide show prior to the graduation ceremony. This starts at 6:15 pm on graduation day. Please send in pictures of your child for the slide show. We are looking for a baby picture and then any school photos, class events, team shots, dances, proms, etc. Please put your child’s name on the back of the pictures, they will be returned after they are scanned. Final date for pictures is May 31, 2012.
